I cut this feather completly out of leather then glued it to the latigo leather and added my name tag.

Thanks, there is also another way to do a feather and that would be to under cut the sides and shape it rather than cut it completly out like I did.

When you under cut the sides do not go all the way threw the leather. Just slice it enough that you can raise the edges of the leather.
I thought I'd better define that better after I read my last note to you on this.

Thanks. To cut it out I used an exacto knife. I cut this one out all the way but a you can just trim the underneath and raise the ends to get the same look.
